Ingredients: Marinade 1 lb. beef cut into thin slices ( use flank, sirloin or rib eye steak) Use slightly frozen beef, easier to slice 1 tbsp. ginger paste 1 tbsp. garlic paste 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. oyster sauce 1 egg white 3 tbsp. corn starch ½ tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. of oil
3 tbs. oil 1 lb. broccoli florets 2 tbsp. chopped garlic 2 tbsp. chopped ginger 1 tbsp. light soy sauce 1 tbsp. dark soya sauce 1 tbsp. oyster sauce 1 tsp. red chili paste ½ tsp. black pepper 3 tbsp. cornstarch in ¼ cup of water ¼ cup chicken broth 1 tsp. sesame seed oil 4 stems of green onions chopped 1 tbsp. of cilantro

Directions:1. When cutting slices of beef, use slightly frozen beef to make it easier to slice. 2. Marinate the beef slices in all the ingredients indicated under Marinade for 30 minutes. 3. Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a hot wok, add 1 tbsp. ginger and 1 tbsp. garlic and add the marinated beef slices. 4. Cook the beef on high heat until it has browned on both sides and seared. 5. Remove the beef on to a plate. 6. In a bowl prepare a mixture with oyster sauce, light and dark soya sauce, black pepper, red chili paste, corn starch and chicken broth 7. In the same hot wok, add 1 - 2 tbsp. of oil, the 1 tbsp. chopped garlic and 1 tbsp. chopped ginger and white part of the onions. Let the oil flavor with the ginger and garlic and add the sauce. Add broccoli, cook for 2 minutes. 8. Add the beef to the broccoli and cook for another 3 minutes. If the sauce is too dry, add more water. 9. Sprinkle green part of the green onions. 10 Serve and garnish with cilantro. |
