1 lb ground beef
1 lb Italian Sausage
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tab sugar
1 diced onion
1 tab basil
1 1/2 tsp salt
Dash pepper
1 lb can diced tomatoes
2 6oz cans of tomato paste
1 can mushrooms
1 can sliced black olives
8-10 cooked lasagna noodles
2 eggs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 cups cottage cheese
2 tab parsley
1 lb sliced mozzarella cheese
optional-garlic toast

Pre-Heat oven to 350º
Cook beef, Italian sausage and onion
Boil 8-10 lasagna noodles. Drain.
Mix in large saucepan, garlic, sugar, basil, salt, pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, and black olives. Drain and add meat mixture when browned. Cover and Simmer 30 minutes to an hour.
In a separate bowl, add eggs, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Set aside.
Grease lasagna pan.
Layer in order. 1/2 noodles first in pan, then 1/2 cottage cheese mixture, 1/2 mozzarella cheese, 1/2 meat sauce and Repeat. After second layer, top with sprinkled parmesan cheese.
Cook covered for 45 minutes at 350 Degrees. Take off cover and cook additional 15 minutes. Let sit another 15 minutes before serving to firm up.
