Directions:Rinse the stain with warm water Apply a generous amount of peroxide to the stain Allow the hydrogen peroxide to sit on the stain for at least a half hour Take a wet soft brush or towel and gently rub the stain to work in the peroxide. Rubbing the fabric will wear it out. So, you only want to do this as long as necessary. I would suggest stop when you see substantial progress. Rinse the stain with warm water If the stain remains, repeat the process. Can soak overnight in water with Dawn dish washing soap. |

Notes: To Keep Whites with Baking soda, vinegar, borax, lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide all naturally whiten. Add ½ cup of any of these cleaners to each wash cycle to keep your clothes bone white. For double duty, mix in ½ cup vinegar and ½ cup borax to your white loads. Both ingredients will help brighten whites, and the vinegar will soften clothes. Other uses The basic laundry stain recipe is a mixture of Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide. (You use the basic 3% hydrogen peroxide that’s available in drugstores or grocery stores). You use these two ingredients in a ratio of 1 part Dawn to 2 parts peroxide. I made a small batch of 1 teaspoon Dawn and 2 teaspoons peroxide and mixed them together in a small bowl. I used a small brush to rub it into the stained area and then let it set for a couple of hours before laundering in the washing machine. Another way to use your hydrogen peroxide is to mix it with baking soda or cream of tartar for a household stain cleaner
