½ C sugar
½ C packed brown sugar
⅓ C butter softened
⅓ C shortening
1 egg
1 teas vanilla
1½ C flour
½ teas baking soda
½ teas salt
1* 6 oz semisweet choc chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375ºF. Mix sugars, butter, shortening, egg & vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto uncreased cooke sheet.
Bake until light brown, 8-10 minutes.

*For half-baked cookies, as a dessert, bake a large ball of dough for about 4-5 minutes (or until half-baked) and serve warm with ice-cream on top*
