4 lean boneless pork chops
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
2 tbsp fig jam
1/2 cup water
1 lb trimmed green beans
2 tbsp grated parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook, turning once until thermometer registers 145o F about 6 minutes, Transfer to a plate to keep warm.


To make sauce reduce heat to medium. Add onion to skillet and cook, stirring constantly until onion is golden about 1 minute. Add broth and jam. Cook stirring to scape up brown bits on bottom until jam is melted, 1-2 minutes.


Meanwhile bring water to a boil in large pan. Add green beans and cook covered until tender crisp about 5 minutes. Drain and toss with parmesan. Serve with pork chops and sauce.
