MARINADE
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
2 Tbl vegetable oil
2 Tbl lemon juice
2 Tbl crushed red pepper (or your taste preference)
1 Tbl garlic pepper
1 Tbl sesame seeds
2 Tbl dried onion flakes (or 2 green onions, chopped)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients.

This marinade is delicious for chicken, pork, beef or salmon. Marinating times depend on your protein.
Bone in chicken is best for a few hours.

Pat dry.

Grill to perfection.

We always reserve marinade for dipping (Grilled garlic bread?) Strain and heat thoroughly.

If you’re cooking for a crowd, always keep soy and vinegar equal, adjust seasonings accordingly.

Uncle Jim and I discovered so many delicious recipes during our stay on Guam. The Chamorro call this “finadene”. If you were to Google that it would be a bit different; more peppers, more vinegar. This is truly the whole family’s favorite.
