1 cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour
½ lb butter
2 eggs
½ cup orange juice

Crumbs:
½ cup sugar
⅓ cup flour
2½ tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients like pie crust. Blend in eggs and orange juice. Mix with spoon only until dry ingredients are all mixed. Put into a well greased and floured loaf pan and cover with crumbs (using ingredients above or your favorite crumb recipe). Bake at 325º for about an hour. Test with a toothpick.

This is a much easier version of Placek that my friend Judy Zilka gave me and I make this all the time. The easier and faster the better for me.
