2 c sugar
1 c white syrup
food coloring
½ c water
cinnamon oil (mild flavor ½ tsp, strong 1 tsp, extra strong 1½-2 tsp)

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar, water, and syrup in saucepan and cook to hard crack stage, 290-300º. Remove from heat and add cinnamon oil and coloring. Stir until blended, then pour onto buttered cake pan. Score as candy cools with a pizza cutter. Let cool and break into serving pieces. Dust with powdered sugar before storing or serving.
