Steak Marinade
2 lbs. sirloin steak or flank steak
1 tbsp. of ginger paste
1 tbsp. of garlic paste
1 tsp. of red garlic chili sauce
1 tbsp. of soya sauce
2 tbsp. of corn starch
¼ tsp. of salt

Sauce
½ cup of soya sauce
½ cup of water
½ tsp. sesame seed oil
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. of red garlic chili sauce
1 tbsp. of corn starch
¼ tsp. of salt
4 green onion stalks chopped
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1 tsp. chopped ginger
Oil for frying the beef

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut the steak into thin slices.
2. Marinate the steak with all the ingredients under Marinade except corn starch
3. Add corn starch at the end and ensure all the pieces of beef are coated with corn starch.
4. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
5 Heat oil in a wok on high heat. Fry the beef until golden brown and set aside on a paper towel.
6. Remove and discard the oil from the wok,
7. Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in the same wok.
8. Fry ginger, garlic, green chili, and white part of the green onions.
9 Add soya sauce, sesame seed oil, garlic chili sauce, salt,
10. Mix corn starch in water and add to the mixture and let it cook for about 3 minutes on high or until it gets a little thicker.
11. Add the fried beef to the mixture and let it absorb the juices.
12. Turn the heat to low and cook for 2 minutes.
13. Garnish with green onions

Serve with rice.
