Personal Notes:
I know that everyone has there own garlic bread recipe (or some buy it). My mother is Vincenza Giovinazzo Rubino and her secret to the great flavor of this recipe was the mayo. It is so good that my son-in-law the chef now uses the mayo to prepare his garlic bread. This reminds me when I would visit my grandmother, Angelina Giovinazzo, and she would always have a loaf of Italian Bread in her kitchen. I would always ask for a piece and I used mayo instead of butter on the bread. This was a great memory for me.
