2 c flour
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
3/4 c shortening
1/2 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients, blend in shortening until texture of cornmeal. Add milk. Handle dough as little as possible. Drop 1 heaping teaspoon of dough for each biscuit on slightly greased cookie sheet. Chill in refrigerator. Bake in 450˚F oven for 12 minutes. Makes about 8 or 10 medium-size biscuits.
