Ingredients:	Ingredients: 1 pkg active dry yeast 1/4 c warm water (10-115˚F) 1/2 c whole milk, scalded 2/3 c (10 and 2/3 T) butter 2 T white granulated sugar 3/4 tsp salt 2 c sifted all-purpose flour 2 large eggs, well beaten

Directions:	Directions: Dissolve yeast in water in a small non-reactive bowl or cup. Let stand 10 minutes to activate. Pour scalded milk over butter, sugar and salt in a large bowl; cool to lukewarm. Add about a half cup of flour and beat until smooth. Stir the yeast and scrape into the batter; mix well. Add about one-half of the remaining flour and beat until smooth. Beat in remaining flour; beat thoroughly at least 5 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl. Cover bowl with waxed paper and a dampened towel; let stand in warm place (about 80˚F) until double in bulk. Beat down and put into a greased tube pan and let rise again until double. Bake at 350˚F in preheated oven for 1 hour.
