1 stick (½ cup) butter, softened
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 16-oz can Hershey’s syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Icing:
½ stick (¼ cup) butter
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup evaporated milk
½ cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add mixture alternately with syrup. Stir in vanilla extract. Bake in sheet pan at 350º for 35 minutes.

Icing: mix together in sauce pan butter, sugar, and evaporated milk. Cook 2 minutes. Add chocolate chips. Pour over warm cake.
