Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was my mother’s signature recipe. She made dozens of these coffee cakes every year to give away, especially at Christmas. And she always made sure to save some for us! These cakes freeze well, and she would often reheat and serve slices for breakfast, wth a little melted butter on top. — Mary Dungan Thomas
