Cream Cheese (16 oz package)
¼ cup sugar
Lemon zest
Pecans
6 eggs
1 cup milk

Heat Maple syrup/pecans/lemon zest to pour over french toast

Directions:
Directions:
Loaf of french bread cut in sections & then cut again (not all the way through-to make a pocket)
Take 1 tsp. of cream cheese mix (cream cheese, lemon zest, ¼ cup sugar, pecans) mixed together
and stuff in between bread pockets, dip in egg/milk mixture. Fry it up & serve with hot syrup mix poured over the bread.

Brunch: Timesaver! Fix bread pockets, place in casserole dish the night before. Pour egg & milk (whipped together)
over the french toast. Next Morning, put in 350º over for 15 - 20 minutes & bake. Serve with hot syrup. This is a great recipe to make in advance for Christmas mornings!
