1 c. butter (no substitutes), softened
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 t. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1/3 to 1/2 c. raspberry jam

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in vailla; gradually add flour until dough forms a ball. Cover and rrefrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle. Roll into 1" balls. Place 1" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Make an indentation in center of each cookie and fill with jam. Bake at 350º for 14 to 18 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Cool. Spoon additional jam into cookies if desired. Makes 3½ dozen cookies.
