8 Tbls four
1 ½ tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
1 ½ lbs round steak
2 Tbsp fat
3 cups sliced onions
1 cup hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, pepper. Sprinkle steak with half this mixture. and pound in thoroughly. Pound remaining flour in the other side. Heat fat in heavy skillet. Add onions and cook until lightly browned. Put to one side. Place onions on top of meat. Add water; cover. Simmer 1 ¾ to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
