1 (24 oz) jar Kosher dill pickle slices (or better Pops pickles)
1 gallon peanut oil
2 cups Louisiana Fish Fry or Uncle Bubba's Fry Mix
Optional: 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
In a fryer or pot over medium-high heat, heat the oil to 350 °F. Drain the pickles.
Put the fry mix in a bag, add pickles and toss to coat thoroughly. Shake off the excess mix and deep fry the pickles in batches for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the size of the slices. Note: thinner slices are best. When golden brown, remove the pickles from the oil with a clean strainer or slotted metal spoon and place on paper towels to drain off any excess oil. Serve immediately.
Optional: Can soak in buttermilk for 30 minutes before coating with fryer mix.
