1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 stick butter
1 can fruit of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt butter in a 9 x 13 pan. Mix together flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, and salt. Stir Until ingredients are mixed together well. Pour the batter over the melted butter. DO NOT STIR. Empty canned fruit and juice over the batter. Again, do not stir. If using fresh fruit, add enough water to fruit to have about 1½ cups liquid. Sprinkle about ½ cup sugar over the fruit. Bake at 350° For about 45 minutes, or until crust is a nice golden brown.
