Ingredients:
Ingredients:

1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon sage
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Grind up in spice grinder, coffee grinder, food processor or just use the back of a spoon to blend to desired consistency. I just use a spoon. Store in an airtight container. This makes about 1/4 cup but you can double, triple or make as much as you want of this recipe.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is an easy recipe for Italian seasoning. Make some up to use if you run out of regular Italian seasoning or use it all the time like I do. It is much cheaper, tastes better, keeps up to six months and you can mix and match ingredients to suit your own taste and that of your family. If there is an ingredient you don’t like leave it out or substitute something else like red pepper flakes in the recipe. I love cooking with Italian seasoning and add it to a lot of dishes. It is great in meatloaf, add it to hamburgers for a change, good on roasts and chops, sprinkle on salads, eggs and in vegetable side dishes.
