1½-2 lb potatoes, peeled, quartered
8 tbsp butter (1 stick)
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1½ cups)
1-2 cups vegetables-carrots, corn, peas
1½ lbs ground round beef
½ cup beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes in salt water about 20 min. Sauté vegetables: cook onions and carrots in 4 tbsp butter 6-10 min. Add beef and simmer until beef is cooked. Season. Add Worcestershire and broth. Reduce heat to low. Cook uncovered 10 min.

Mash cooked potatoes with 4 tbsp butter. Season. Layer meat mixture in a casserole dish and smear mashed potatoes on top, creating crags and peaks to brown. Bake 400º 30+ min until brown.
