1 cup mashed bananas
½ cup sugar
1¾ cups flour
¼ tsp soda
⅓ cup shortening
2 eggs (well beaten)
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the shortening and sugar, then add eggs, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add sifted flour alternately with bananas. Grease pan. bake at 350º for 1 hour.
