¾ c dark karo syrup
3 eggs
½ c sugar
¼ c butter
1 c pecans
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat syrup and butter until melted. Beat eggs and add sugar. Beat eggs and add sugar. Pour into melted syrup and add pecans, vanilla, and salt. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in moderate oven until thick at 375º for 40 minutes.

Note: If making 2 pies I use 5 eggs.
