2 cups white Sugar
3/4 cup Evaporated Milk
2/3 cup boiling Water
1/3 cup white Karo syrup
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 cups Pecans
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the sugar, milk, water and Karo syrup to a boil in a heavy, large saucepan.
Add the baking soda and bring to a boil again.
Add the pecans.
Stir constantly, continuing to firm boil stage.
Remove from heat and beat until it thickens and loses shiny gloss.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
Add a teaspoon of hot water if it becomes too hard.
Add the vanilla.
