1 lb. small White Onions, peeled
1 cup Milk
3 tbsp.White Flour
3 tbsp. Butter
½ cup Cracker Crumbs
Paprika
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil enough small onions to cover a shallow baking dish. When partially done, drain, saving some of the liquid. Make a thick cream sauce by melting 2 tbsp. butter, adding the flour for a few minutes, and then slowly pouring in the milk (or cream) until thickened. Add some onion liquid to the cream sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste to the sauce. Put onions in the baking dish, and cover with the cream sauce. Sprinkle with the cracker crumbs, dot with the remaining butter and sprinkle with paprika. bake in a 350º oven until bubbly and a bit browned on top. Can be kept warm any length of time until ready to serve.
