1 C Sour Cream
1 ts Baking Soda
4 C Flour
1 C Sugar
2 tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Cream of Tarter
1 tsp Salt
1 C Butter, (room temp)
1 Egg

¾ C Melted Butter
Seedless Raspberry Jam

Step One:
Preheat oven to 350º F.
In small bowl, stir together sour cream and baking soda. Set aside.
In large bowl, stir together 1½ C flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tarter and salt.
Cut butter into flour mixture. Stir in egg and sour cream mixture.Mix until barely combined.

Step two:
Stir remaining ½ C flour onto pastry cloth and knead dough just until it holds together. Divide dough into 6 balls. Form each into a mound. Cut into quarters. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Step Three:
Bake for 20 minutes or until edges start to brown. Remove from cookie sheet onto cooling rack.
While still warm, cut a slit in each one ¾ through. Inject melted butter, then jam inside each one.
Cake decorating tips work well.
