1 lb. Butter
1 dozen Eggs, separated
4 squares Unsweetened Chocolate, melted
1 cup chopped Pecans
1½ cups Heavy Cream (whipped)
1 lb. Almond Cookies (enough to crumble and soak up the Bourbon)
2 cups Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup Bourbon
Ladyfingers to line pans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat egg yolks until light and then beat into creamed mixture. Soak almond cookies in bourbon. Beat chocolate into butter mixture. Add vanilla and pecans. Fold in beaten egg white. Line 10" springform pan around sides and bottom with ladyfingers, split. Alternate layers of almond cookies and chocolate mixture. Chill overnight. Top with whipped cream. Serves 16-20.
