⅓ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beatern
½ cup milk
1-½ cups flour
1-½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg

6 Tbsp melted butter or margarine

½ cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix ½ cup of sugar and cinnamon; set aside in a bowl you can use for rolling muffins. Melt butter in similar bowl. Cream shortening and 1 cup of the sugar. Add egg, milk, flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Mix well. Bake in greased muffin tins- DO NOT USE papers!

Bake at 375º 15-20 minutes until cake springs back when touched lightly.

Take out of pans at once and roll in the melted butter, then roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
