"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Two pounds ground beef,

2 cans pinto/kidney beans.
I always cube potatoes and include them.

Directions:
Brown the ground beer and then throw everything in a Crockpot or stockpot.
Normally, I cook on low at least 4 hours. Think it was called 2 x 4.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My oldest and always best friend, Helen Emerson Hicks gave me this recipe. We meet up every October in Devil's Den for a big trail ride and visit, with our other best friend, Margy. We bring food for the big pot luck suppers that they have and one night is soup and stew night. This is one that Helen brings and is my favorite...when I get some of it because it's everyone else's favorite, also, evidently!
