1 large head of garlic
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/8 tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425.
Fry the bacon. Let drain on paper towels.
When bacon is cool, crumble.
Cut 1/2 inch off the garlic knob. Keep garlic head intact.
Place the garlic knob cut side up on a sheet of tin foil.
Drizzle the garlic with olive oil and wrap in tin foil.
Bake for 45 minutes, garlic should be soft and a golden brown.
Let garlic cool completely.
Squeeze the soft pulp into a medium bowl.
Mash the garlic pulp with a fork.
Add all remaining ingredients and stir well.
Cover and refrigerate, lasts about a week. You can also chill and roll into a log, wrap in cling wrap.
