1 Stick unsalted butter softened
½ cup sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
1 egg (room temperature)
1½ cups all purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt together in a bowl. Add in egg and flour, blend again until it is all incorporated. The dough will end up in a ball.

Place dough into a pastry bag and pipe out the dough onto a silpat (silicone sheet) or parchment paper or cookie sheet.

Bake 15 minutes at 350º.

Once baked you can use melted mini chocolate chips or spread bottom of cookies with preserves and make cookie sandwiches.
