1 medium can peach halves

Directions:
Drain all the fruit (reserving the 1/2 cup of desired juice). Cut pineapple in halves, also peaches if they are extra large. Arrange fruit in alternate layers in large medium-deep casserole dish. In top of double boiler combine butter, sugar, flour, and juice. Cook, stirring, over boiling water until smooth and thickened. Pour over fruit in casserole, cover and let stand in refrigerator over-night. Before serving heat in 350º oven until hot and bubbly, about 20-25 minutes. This is delicious with pork or chicken. Keeps well for several days. Yields 12-14 servings.
