Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1½ c blackberry brandy
⅓ c slivered almonds
4 Tbsp real butter
2–3 Tbsp Worcestershire, preferably Lee & Perrins
1-2 tsp marjoram
2 cloves fresh garlic, pressed
½ tsp cracked black pepper
1 Tbsp salt- I use seasoned salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together in a saucepan and simmer on low to medium heat for 15 – 20 minutes.
Baste the roast beef every 20-30 minutes as it cooks. (I use a brush.)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
While this baste can be used on any beef roast, I prepare a prime rib roast with 3 to 4 ribs at Christmas. I cook the roast on a rotisserie and liberally baste the meat during entire cook time; around 4 or more hours, depending on size of roast. I also keep the baste warm in a small saucepan.
