1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
2 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts
Apricot Filling Recipe or ½ c. Apricot Jam

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Grease a 9" square pan. Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg yolks and beat well. Add flour, salt, and nuts, mix thoroughly. Spread half of this mixture in prepared pan. Cover with apricot filling or jam. Spread remaining cookie mixture over the top. Bake about 65 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and cut into bars.
