10 oz frozen chopped spinach, cooked and squeezed very dry (do not cook the spinach; pouring boiling water over it to defrost it, squeeze dry)
16 oz. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 pkg. Knorr’s dried vegetable recipe mix
1 can water chestnuts drained (chopped or sliced)
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped or scallions (optional; Mary doesn't use either)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate to let it season through. Serve with raw vegetables, crackers, pita chips, etc.
