1.5 lb sugar
2 lbs butter
2 lbs flour
10-12 eggs
2 cup milk
4 tsp vanilla
2-4 tsp salt
6 tsp Baking powder

1. Preheat oven to 350. Generously grease pan and coat with flour.

2. In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

3. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.

4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and beat until well combined. Add flour mixture and beat on low speed for 1 minute, scraping bottom and sides of bowl as needed. Pour batter into prepared pan.

5. Bake 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool in pan on cooling grid 15 minutes.
