2 cups creamy peanut butter
¾ cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups uncooked regular oats
2 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 11.5 oz package semisweet chocolate chunks
1 ½ coarsely chopped pecans, toasted

Directions:
Directions:
Beat peanut butter, butter, and sugars at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until blended. Combine oats, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in chocolate chunks and pecans. Cover and shill dough for 2 hours.

Drop dough by ¼ cupfuls 3 inches apart onto greased baking sheets, press to ¾ thickness. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 - 14 minutes, or until edges are browned. Cool on baking sheets 3 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Makes about 4 dozen
