Directions:
I know it's not a food recipe but it has been my laundry soap for about 6 years not and I find it does an excellent job. You can find all of these ingredients at Walmart. It lasts a very long time and is a fraction of the cost of commercial brands.

Use a food processor for the Fells Naptha Soap. Cut the soap into small diced sized pieces and mix in batches in your food processor WITH atleast a cup of the washing or baking soda each time so that you don't gum up the blades of the food processor.

Then pour all the ingredients into a white large kitchen trash bag to mix and then once mixed put into two or three large containers and measure ¼ cup for each load. No matter how dirty the clothes are!!!

Please note: if you have an "High Effenciency" (HE) washer put the soap powder in before you put in your clothes.
