2 dozen Chincoteague oysters
1 quart water
1 Tbs. salt
6 Tbs. melted butter
1 tsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Scrub oysters.
2. Place oysters in a steamer over boiling, salted water. Steam about 10-15 minutes (until shells open).
3. Serve with hot, melted butter mixed with lemon juice.

NOTE:: If any oyster will not close or is not tightly closed before steaming, don't use it - throw it away.
