Two cups flour
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla then mix well.
Add sifted dry ingredients then oatmeal and chocolate chips. Mix.
Bake at 325º F for 8-10 minutes.

Every summer our family went to Pilgrim Park to enjoy a week of summer camp. Staff and campers alike always want to go back for more cowboy cookies. I managed to procure this recipe secretly from the cook so keep it secret!
