1¼ cups boiling water
1 cup minute oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
1½ cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

TOPPING:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flaked coconut
1 stick margarine
½ cup milk
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Add boiling water to minute oats and let set.

Mix the brown sugar, white sugar, and margarine together.

Add the oats mixture, then all the rest of the ingredients.

Pour into prepared 9x13 inch cake dish and bake at 350º for 20 to 25 minutes.

While cake is baking, mix all the ingredients listed under TOPPING in a sauce pan.

When cake is done, remove from the oven and spread the topping on the cake.

Bake under the broiler for TWO minutes.
