2 Cups Flour
1 Cup brown sugar
½ Cup butter
½ Cup margarine
1 Cup light corn syrup
5 Eggs
¾ Cup of sugar
Dash of salt
1 Tsp. Vanilla(I use Mexican )
1 Cup pecans(I use enough to cover the top of Filling, you can't use too many!)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter and margarine until coarse crumbs. You might try my suggestion of reducing the butter a little. Press this mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan. I use an air bake pan.
Bake 10 minutes or until golden. Combine corn syrup, eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and pecans. Pour over baked crumb mixture in pan. Bake at 275º for 50 minutes, or until center sets.

This recipe is from the Electric Co-Op Cookbook. I have used it for years and it is a crowd pleaser.

"There is gladness in her gladness when she is glad:
There is sadness in her sadness when she is sad;
But the gladness in her gladness
And the sadness in her sadness
Are nothing to her madness when she is mad."

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath. Psa. 37:8
