1 cup butter room temperature
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar
Add egg and vanilla and beat
Sift dry ingredients and gradually add to cream mixture
Bake 350 around 10 minutes depending on size of cookies. They only get brown around edge. Store in air tight container and sprinkle with confectioners sugar if not icing.
