2 cups slightly sweetened , cooked pie apples (optional: 1 can sliced apples)
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. flour
1 cup cream
2 eggs
1 9" pastry


Topping:
¼ c. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
¼ c. brown sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9" pie pan with pastry, making a high fluted edge, and fill with sliced apples. Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon and flour, add cream and eggs. Beat with rotary beater then pour into pie pan. Combine flour, butter, brown sugar & cinnamon, and sprinkle over the top. Bake in moderate hot oven(400º) for 45 minutes. This pie is best served with ice cream. Makes one 9" pie.
Sheet foil, or put pan under pie in oven to keep oven spotless, if pie filling should over flow.
