1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten egg whites
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Raspberry jelly

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º.
2. Mix butter, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla. Set aside.
3. Mix flour and salt and add to butter mixture.
4. Roll in balls, dip in egg whites, roll in nuts.
5. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes, take out of oven. Press thumb in center of each cookie, return to oven, bake 8 minutes more.
6. Top with dollop of jelly.
