1. I packet of frozen Okra (Bhinda) You can also use fresh Okra and slice them
2. Oil for Frying Okra
3. 2 tbsp. oil
3. 1 large onion cut up in small pieces
4. 2 medium size cut chopped tomatoes
5. 1 tsp. tomato paste
6. 2 tsp garlic paste
7. 1 tsp. turmeric powder
8. 1 tsp. dhana jheera (cumin and coriander) powder
9. 1 tbsp. lemon juice
10. ½ tsp. crushed green chillies
11. 1 tsp. salt to taste
12. ½ bunch of cilantro - cut up

1. Defrost the okra in the microwave in a bowl.
2. Remove excess liquid in a strainer.
3. Dry the okra with a paper towel.
4. If you use fresh okra, you do not need to do the above steps
5. Fry the okra in a wok until they turn crispy.
6. Remove from heat and drain the excess oil. Pat dry with a paper towel.
6. In a saucepan, fry the onions until they start turning brown.
7. Add tomatoes and and cook for about 2 mins
8. Next add the tomato paste cook for another 2 mins.
9. Add the rest of the ingredients and let the mixture cook for about 10 mins
10. Add cilantro
11. Finally add the fried Okra. Cover the saucepan and let it simmer on low heat for about 2 mins.
12. Serve with Rotla or chapatis
