3 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1½ cup water
½ - 1 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine all dry ingredients in mixing bowl and stir.
2. Add water and mix to a thick, smooth batter.
3. Heat oil in frying pan on medium heat. When the oil is hot, drop in Barrera with a tablespoon. Frying pan might be able to hold more than one cookie-sized cakes at a time
4. Use a spatula to turn cakes once frying side is brown.
5. When both sides are cooked, test the middle with a tooth pick. If the toothpick is clean, place cakes on a paper towel to drain. If not, return to the pan for 1 more minute..
