1 block of Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
1/3 c powdered sugar
1 egg, separated
1/2 t vanilla
2 packages of Crescent rolls
1 c cherry pie filling
1/4 c powdered sugar
1 T milk
Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla together until smooth.
2. Separate crescent roll dough into 16 pieces. Reserve four pieces of dough and arrange the other 12 pieces on a round pizza pan with the points toward the center.
3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
4. Top with cherry pie filling.
5. Take the remaining dough and cut it into long strips. Twist the strips and lay it over the pie filling.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until brown.
7. Finally, combine the 1/4 c powdered sugar and milk. Use this as a glaze--pour over the coffee cake.
8. Serve warm.
