2 c sugar
½ c shortening or butter
1 c milk
2 eggs
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
3 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add other ingredients and beat 3 minutes. Bake is 2 greased, floured loaf pans 1 hour at 350º.
