1-1/4 quarts raw potatoes, sliced very thin
2-1/2 tbsp. flour
1-1/4 tsp. salt
few grains pepper
2-1/4 tbsp. butter or margarine
2-1/2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Spread about one-third of the potatoes in loose, overlapping fashion in greased baking dish about 2-1/4 quart capacity. Sprinkle with one-half the flour, salt and pepper. Dot with 1 tcsp. butter cut in small bits. Repeat with another layer of potatoes, flour, salt, pepper and butter. Cover with remaining potatoes and dot with remaining butter. Pour milk over top. Cover and bake in 375º oven about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 20-40 minutes loner or until potatoes are tender.
